7 Days Tour From Casablanca To Marrakech

The tour will start upon your arrival. You will meet your driver at the airport, who will greet you with a Moroccan smile. Afterward, you will drive around Casablanca, the biggest city in Morocco. In this city, you will be able to visit the largest mosque in the country and one of the biggest in the world, the Hassan II Mosque. Then stop in Rabat for the Hassan Tower and the adjacent Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of Oudaya. Arrive in Fès by evening and settle into a riad in the medina.

Explore the oldest medina. Start your journey from your riad/hotel. From there, make your way to Bou Inania Madrasa, a breathtaking 14th-century Koranic school adorned with intricate Marinid architecture.

Continue walking to Al Attarine Madrasa, where stunning zellige tilework and carved cedar wood await you (entry is just 20 MAD). Along the way, don't miss Dar al-Magana, the fascinating medieval water clock built in 1357 — one of the oldest in the world.

Then step into history at Al Qarawiyyin, founded in 859 AD and recognized as the oldest continuously operating university on the planet. End your day at the legendary Chouara Tannery, where you can watch centuries-old leather dyeing from a rooftop terrace, and mint sprigs are handed out at the entrance to help with the smell!

Today it's a long drive (around 7 hours). You'll leave Fès early and head south, passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains, cedar forests, and small Berber towns. If you're lucky, you might even spot wild monkeys near Ifrane. Along the way, stop for lunch and enjoy the changing landscapes, from green hills to rocky desert. As you get closer to the desert of Merzouga, the scenery turns dramatic, and those famous golden dunes start to appear.

This is the magic moment. From there, hop on a camel and slowly make your way into the Erg Chebbi dunes. The light is unreal at this time for amazing photos. You'll reach your desert camp by dusk, where you can relax, have dinner, and listen to traditional music by the fire. Then sleep under a sky full of stars, peaceful, and something you won't forget.

After breakfast — and, for those who wish, sunrise over the dunes — we leave for Dadès. On our way, we pass by Erfoud, the capital of fossils and dates. Additionally, our trip continues to Todra Gorge, where we have a great opportunity to walk and enjoy the volcanic scenery. After doing so, we carry on our drive to the Dades Valley.

On this day, we continue our trip to Roses Town, where the locals offer their products, from perfumes, rose water, and oils, to cosmetic products. We continue our drive through the palm groves of Skoura to reach Ouarzazate, where we visit Atlas Studios, where famous movies were shot.

After we drive for half an hour to the famous Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), we walk in the kasbah and have lunch there, then get ready for the pass of Tizi n'Tichka, with its amazing landscapes.

Explore Marrakech on a half-day guided city tour: after breakfast, the tour guide will come to your accommodation to take you through the narrow streets of the medina and visit the Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, Medersa Ben Youssef, and the souks (markets).

The walking tour in the medina will take around 4 hours, so you will need comfortable shoes. The afternoon and evening are free — consider Jemaa el-Fnaa square at sunset, a hammam, or a rooftop dinner.

Your driver will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. This depends on where your flight is — Marrakech or Casablanca — and transfer time is planned accordingly.
