Day 01: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Benhadou – Dades Gorges:

Departure in the morning heading East towards Ouarzazate driving through High Atlas Mountains stopping to take scenic photos along the way. We continue the journey to visit the Ait Ben Haddou village to see an ancient Kasbah listed under UNESCO World Heritage, it is one of the main touristic attractions across Morocco. An important list of famous movies filmed in the site such as: Gladiator and Indiana Jones… Afterwards, we continue to Ouarzazate where are the largest movie studios or the so called the Holly-Wood of Africa. After lunch in the area (optional), we set off via Skoura oasis – an extensive Oasis of palm groves where the beautiful Kasbah of Amridil is set. We carry-on our journey along the Rose valley where a huge amount of rose products is produced. We finally arrive at Dades Gorges for overnight.

Day 02: Dades and Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Sahara Desert:

After breakfast, our departure from the hotel at Dades valley will be around 08 am. Our drive will take us via the ‘Road of the 1001 Kasbahs’, enjoying the colorful Berber villages of the valley. Afterwards, we arrive at Tinghir with its beautiful palm grove and Jewish vestiges. We continue to Todra Gorges where to have free time to go on a trek along the canyons of about 300 m high – a favorite place for rock climbers. Later on, we leave to Merzouga Sahara Desert for our camel ride. We will stop somewhere along the road for lunch before we make it to Erfoud – famous for its fossils factories. Arrive at Merzouga village and check for our hotel.

Day 03: Merzouga – Desert Tour – Nomad People & camel ride:

After breakfast at the hotel, we start our visit around Merzouga. During our Desert sightseeing, we will visit the slave’s village of Khamlia, where we will enjoy the local Gnawa music. Furthermore, you will visit a nomad’s tent for a chance to discover the quotidian life of the nomads, you will have a cup of tea with them. We follow our passion to explore one of the abandoned coal mines in the area. Back to the village of Merzouga for lunch. In the afternoon, at sunset time; you will camel trek through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to a nomad-tented camp where the camels are hobbled, and where you will enjoy the total silence and calmness that the vastest Sahara on earth has to offer, also enjoy your fresh dinner under the stars and where you will enjoy the desert music played by the camp staff. Overnight in the desert camp.

Day 04: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate:

Wake up early in the morning to attend and enjoy a spectacular sunrise, when the color of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. Set up over the dunes, waiting for the sun to rise and meanwhile feel the cold morning breeze are feelings you will not find elsewhere but here in the Desert. After so, back to the camp for breakfast and shower, then get ready to leave for Ouarzazate. We continue the trip towards the vast palm of Tafilalet through the holly town of Rissani (the root of the Alaouite dynasty and the ancient capital of Sultans Alaouite). Our lunch will be in the village of Alnif before we carry on via Tazarine, N’kob and Draa Valley from where we will take the off road which crosses the Valley, it would be our chance to see the old fortified villages and kasbahs spread along the river. Arrive at Agdez for scenic photos of the valley before we cross Anti Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate.

Day 05: Ouarzazate – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech:

Get up in the morning, have your breakfast and get ready to leave Ouarzazate. Before we leave, we go on a visit to discover cinema sets & studios located in Ouarzazate, a city known as the ‘Hollywood of Africa’. After doing so, we will take our way through the windy road of High Atlas Mountains and Tizi N Tichka pass. There will be a break for lunch in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. Early afternoon, arrive at Marrakech. End of our services.
