Day 01: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt:

Our staff will be waiting for your arrival at the airport of Fez. As we meet, we welcome you with a big smile and big welcome. If you arrive early in the morning, we pick you up and drive to Fez downtown. Go for breakfast in a local restaurant. Afterwards, we start the sightseeing of Fez. As we start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. We will visit the most historical monuments: The Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter (the first Mellah ever built in Morocco). We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interests including the famous Al Qaraouine University; the oldest in the region, The Tanneries… After lunch, we leave Fez farther south for another 04 hours ride. We leave Fez for our hotel deep in the mountains. Our drive will take us via Ifran known as Morocco’s Switzerland, and the Cedar Forest where to see barbary macaques jumping the trees to look for fruits. Arrive to our hotel in Midelt. Overnight in a charming hotel.

Day 02: Midelt- Atlas Mountains- Ziz Valley- Merzouga. (Desert Camp):

Right after your breakfast, you get ready to leave the hotel and be prepared for another journey full of new activities and adventure to go through. We drive via mountains to cross High Atlas Mountains with 1907m altitude. As we cross the Atlas Mountains and we progress towards the Desert, we feel the harshness and dryness of landscape. Arrive to Ziz Valley with a great panoramic view to enjoy, before we continue to Sahara Desert where to switch the vehicle for camels. The camel ride takes 1h30min across the dunes of Erg Chebbi in order to arrive to our camp where to spend overnight. Our tents are well-equipped with clean mattresses and cozy beds. You also have private toilet and shower as you will have a luxury camp.

Day 03: Explore Sahara Desert:

Wake up early in the morning to attend and enjoy a spectacular sunrise, when the color of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. Set up over the dunes, waiting for the sun to rise and meanwhile feel the cold morning breeze are feelings you will not find elsewhere but here in the Desert. After so, back to the camp for breakfast and shower, then get ready for free day around Sahara Desert. You will have a unique opportunity to visit Gnaoua village “Black people” originally from Mali, Niger…. They will entertain you with their authentic instruments. After spending a worthwhile moment with Gnaoua; we drive deep in the Desert for a panoramic view that shows the contrast of golden dunes with black volcanic rocks. Later on, a cup of tea with nomad family is worth to explore the way they survive and feel the harshness of life for being a nomad. We follow our path to a left behind coal mine. Back to the village of Merzouga for lunch. Back to the hotel for free time. Night in the hotel.

Day 04: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades – Skoura:

After your breakfast at the hotel, you get ready to leave the Desert and drive to our next destination- Skoura.  Our journey will lead us to drive via a number of villages and towns along the road. Not far away from Merzouga, we will stop in Sijilmasa which is one of the oldest cities in Morocco. If our trip coincides with the day market of the town (Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday), a visit is worth it. Later on, we go ahead with our adventure to Todra Gorges, a paradise site for rock climbers and hikers. We will stop at the site to explore its high cliffs. Subsequently, we will follow our passion towards our destination Skoura driving through Dades and Rose Valley. Rose valley is famous for producing different products of rose such as: rose water, rose cream, and rose oil…we carry on our trip to Skoura oasis where to spend overnight in one of its riads.

Day 05: Skoura – Kasbah Ait Benhadou- Atlas Mountains – Marrakech:

Right after your breakfast at the hotel/Riad, we meet you at the lobby by 8am and start our adventure to Marrakech. We will pass by rose valley which is a productive area for all different products of rose such as: rose water, rose cream, rose oil… Additionally, we will stop in one of the main famous historical landmarks in Morocco, Kasbah Ait Benhadou. It is an iconic vestige that will take us back to the ancient eras of the country, the time of salt and gold trade. The Kasbah is a chosen backdrop for many Hollywood movies such as Kingdom of Heaven, Ali Baba and Fourty thieves…. Our trip continues to Marrakech via the enormous landscape of Atlas Mountains. Late afternoon we arrive to Marrakech for overnight.

Day 06: Marrakech sightseeing + visit Berber house- Dinner with show:

After breakfast, our guide will meet us at the hotel’s reception to start the exploration of Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”. During our walk tour, we will cover the main historical and cultural points that Marrakech is repleted with. We will insist on to see the most essentiel heritage as Saadiyin Tombs (OPTIONAL), Koutoubia Mosque ‘External side”, Bahia Palace, the Souk of the city, and then we walk through the famous square of the medina where we will see and discover the fascinating serpent’s magicians, “funny seminars” where some professional or humorous people tell fabulous and nice jokes, riddles…On the afternoon IF we still have time, we arrange a visit to Berber village which is about 40 km out of Marrakech. We will visit this Berber family, explore their authentic house and have a cup of tea with them. Before the sun disappears, we make our way back to Marrakech for an arranged dinner with show.

Day 07: Marrakech to Essaouira:

We will meet at the reception by 8am and drive to Essaouira. Within Marrakech-Essaouira route we will come across small women Argan cooperatives. We will take you in an enormous tour to Essaouira to enjoy your day wandering around this coastal town exploring the old fortified fishing port of Essaouira on the Atlantic coast. This latter is the favorite of wind and kite surfers due to its shallow waters. It was once a favorite haunt of Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix. Despite the beach, there is the old medina to discover. Essaouira is typical of many small fortified Moroccan townships. At one time it was considered to be one of the most essential ports in Morocco, and it is still in certain manners. Essaouira is a world heritage city. You have free time to walk the town yourself. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 08: Essaouira to Marrakech airport:

Upon your flight time, we pick you up from the hotel in Essaouira and drive to Marrakech’s airport. The drive is 3 hours. Once we drop you off at the airport, we come to end of your trip in Morocco and end of our services.
