Day 01: Tangier to Chefchaouen “blue town”:

We will meet you at the Port/Airport to start our Morocco Trip and drive to our destination. On our way, we will cross the Rif Mountains enjoying the wonderful views that this mountain chain has to offer. When we get to Chefchaouen, we check into our hotel. You will have a free afternoon to discover this beautiful blue town. Overnight in a local Riad or Hotel.

Day 02: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes:

Today we leave Chefchaouen and depart toward Fez travelling through many villages of the Rif mountains. We will continue our drive to Volubilis -an archaeological site and features the best-preserved Roman ruins in this part of northern Africa. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997. We do recommend a local guide to better discover the area. Later on, we head to Meknes where we will visit the famous gate of Bab Mansour and Moulay Ismail Tombs… After lunch, we head off to Fes – spiritual capital of Morocco. Overnight will be in a local Riad in the Medina.

Day 03: Discover Fez:

After breakfast in the Riad, we meet you at the reception and start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking via its alleys and small streets. The walking tour of fez is divided into two parts, the internal and external side. We will start with the external part in which we will try to visit the most historical monuments: The Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter, the first Melah ever built in Morocco, built during the 16th century, the pottery and Zellij tilework… Additionally, during the internal part of our walk, we will ensure to cover all sites with cultural and historical interests including the famous Al Karaouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, Attarin Museum and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, we carry on exploring more sites walking through the narrow alleys of this labyrinthic medina. Around 04pm we will escort you back to the hotel.

Day 04: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga:

Today we pass through Ifrane (a winter ski resort built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village), then we drive across the Middle Atlas to stop at Cedar Forest to see the apes. We will drive through the beautiful forests, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages to stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and apples. We then continue to Merzouga via Ziz Valley and Erfoud, the capital of the dates. We arrive at Merzouga at early evening. We will spend overnight in a local hotel near the dunes.

Day 05: Desert Camel Trek and Overnight Camping:

After a luxurious breakfast, we will start exploring the area. We will visit the Gnawa people in their village of Khamlia, where you will learn about Gnawa music and their lifestyle. Afterwards, we will drive in the Sahara Desert area where we can meet nomad families still living under Berber tents which are made from the wool of their animals. Today, our lunch will be a local meal (Berber pizza). After that, we will drive back to our hotel where the camels are waiting for us. The camel ride takes about 1h30min to arrive at the camp where you will spend the night- in the middle of the highest sand dunes to enjoy the sunset and watch stars, the dinner will be served at the camp.

Day 06: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges:

The camel man will wake you up early in the morning to watch what might be the best sunrise ever in your entire life, then you will have breakfast right in the camp. After that, we collect you from the camp and drive back to the hotel. On the road, you won’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. We will Sahara Desert to our destination – Dades. We will pass by Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco.
After lunch in the heart of the gorges, we will then drive through the Dades Valley, where to see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight will be in our traditional guest house with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 07: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate:

After breakfast in the hotel, we will travel through the Dades Valley towards Rose Valley, Skoura oasis and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand Kasbah providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip.
Today, we will have the opportunity to meet Berber Nomads in their caves and then you will enjoy the fertile Rose valley and the rock formations along the way. We will stop at “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater. Continuing on to Skoura and the bird’s valley where to visit the Kasbah Amridil, a well-preserved kasbah in this area. After that, we will head off to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”. Spend the night in a Local Hotel or Riad.

Day 08: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Benhadou – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech:

Today we will continue our journey to Marrakech, one of the four imperial cities in Morocco. We will have a small stop to visit or to take pictures of the movie studios of Ouarzazate. On our way to Marrakech, we will visit Aït Ben Haddou old Kasbah (UNESCO as world heritage). Then, we continue towards Marrakech. On our way, we will pass the highest road pass in North Africa 2260m. We will arrive at Marrakech by the afternoon.

Day 09: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour:

Today the local guide will come to meet you at the Hotel or Riad around 09 am to start exploring the highlights of Marrakech. We will cover the main landmarks with historical and cultural interests. During our walking tour, we will visit Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian tombs, The Bahia Palace, Jamaa El Fna Square, and its labyrinthic bazars… Lunch will be served in one of the local restaurants nearby the square. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 10: Marrakech airport:

Up to your flight time, we transfer you from the hotel to the airport. End of our services.
